Fabulous Friday!

We have a fantastic school! Today our first graders had many opportunity to grow and learn as a "whole" child. Today, you're first grader:
- made balloon rockets to test air compression
- worked on creating a book series in which they choose their own characters, problems and solutions
- explored the art work of 17 artists....while the artists worked. During PE, our students walked around the gym watching professional artists use different mediums. It was one of the most amazing events I've seen at school.

We are working on making realistic fiction books during writing. We are in need of:
- duct tape
- cereal boxes
